I am so glad and feel proud of my trip to Qaanaaq repeated since 2012.
This year, the Japanese Arctic project ArCS II was completed and succeeded by the ArCS-3 project.
Our multidisciplinary Greenland project is renewed by a new project led by Yoko Mitani, Kyoto University.
Besides ArCS-3, I have launched a project funded by JSPS on calving glaciers in April 2025.
Under these two projects, I have spent a week on field work on Qaanaaq Ice Cap and Bowdoin Glacier.
We also organized a workshop with the residents of Qaanaaq to report our activities.
Many thanks to my colleagues and friends in Qaanaaq, who enable the long-lasting research in Greenland.
