It's been 20 years since we initiated the Swiss Alps Glacier Field Course in 2006.
The 19th field course took place from 24 August to 4 September 2026 with 11 students.
This year we had two graduate students from the University of Oslo,
along with 9 students from Hokkaido and Tohoku Universities, and the National Institute of Polar Research.
Thanks to the active participation of the students as well as to the wonderful weather,
we have learned and experienced a lot about Swiss glaciers and natural environments.
