Snow pit measurements
A field course on snow and ice was organized in Moshiri, Northern Hokkaido, from 25 to 28 March, 2010. This program has been offered since 2008 as a program of Graduate School of Environmental Science, Hokkaido University. This year, 5 participants learned and experienced field measurement skills on snow and ice. The measurement data were processed and presented on the final day of the program.
