Eigergletscher in Switzeralnd, August 28, 2024
With my colleague Takayuki and in collaboration with ETH-Zurich,
17th Swiss Glacier Fieldcourse was organized from 24 August to 7 September in 2024.
Eight graduate students participated the program to study glaciers and mountain environments in the Alps.
The students learn the consequence of climate warming from rapidly changing glaciers,
experience glacier field work and attend lectures by glacier experts in Switzerland.
So glad to see happy faces of the students, which motivates me to repeat the program next year.
