++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Subject: [SICOPOLIS:151] Release of SICOPOLIS version 24.12 From: Ralf Greve Date: 2025-01-07, 19:18 To: SICOPOLIS ML Dear all, I hope this e-mail finds you well. It is my pleasure to announce that version 24.12 of the ice-sheet model SICOPOLIS (SImulation COde for POLythermal Ice Sheets) was released on 30 December 2024. The major change since the previous version 23.12 is the implementation of DIVA (depth-integrated viscosity approximation) dynamics as an additional option. This was the outcome of an internship of Felix Grandadam (Claude Bernard University Lyon 1) at my working group in Sapporo. Several other changes were also done; please have a look at the release notes @ AWI GitLab for more details. As always, feedback is highly welcome, and I'll be happy to help in case of problems that may come up when using the program.
