++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Subject: [SICOPOLIS:138] Parameters for the PDD model moved From: Ralf Greve Date: 2023-11-10, 18:16 To: SICOPOLIS ML Dear all, today, I have changed the way how the parameters for the positive degree-day (PDD) model are defined. Rather than in the physical parameter files, they are now defined in the run-specs header files. This is more logical as these parameters might be changed rather frequently, and such parameters are supposed to be in the run-specs header files. IMPORTANT in this context: - In the run-specs headers, the parameters for the PDD model must be added if PDD is to be used. Otherwise, an error message will appear. - In the ASCII versions of the physical-parameter files, the parameters for the PDD model must be deleted. Otherwise, the other parameters will not be read properly, and an error message will appear. The required changes have all been done in the files in the repository. So, you can use them as a template to change your own files if needed. So far, this change affects only the develop branch, but not yet the main branch. As soon as I am confident that everything works as it should, I will merge it to main as well.
