++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Subject: [SICOPOLIS:122] Spatially varying sea level From: Ralf Greve Date: 2021-09-21, 15:37 To: SICOPOLIS ML Dear all, I'd like to inform you that SICOPOLIS can now handle a spatially varying sea level. To this end, the variable z_sl was changed from a scalar to a 2D array z_sl(j,i). The new scalar variable z_sl_mean is the spatial average of it. So far, no concrete applications use the new feature; however, the framework is available. For instance, it should be useful for studying the interaction of local sea-level variations, glacial isostatic adjustment and ice-sheet flow.
