The reason is that they are unnecessarily complicated and cumbersome to maintain. Instead, the Quick Start Manual now contains an example how to read data from NetCDF output and make a quick plot. If you wish to keep the MATLAB reading scripts, just make a local (non-version-controlled) copy of them before doing the next `svn update`. There was a sign error with the effect that the pressure exerted from the sea water pulls on the ice front, rather than holding it back. For the shallow-ice (SIA) solver, this boundary condition is not used, so it only affects the shelfy-stream (SStA) solver. I implemented this boundary condition with the bug in revision 1350. Hence, if you use revision 1350 or later, please update to the latest revision to fix the bug. If this is inconvenient, you may fix the bug in calc_vxy_m.F90 manually: . Apologies for that, and a great thanks to Alex for having spotted the bug!
