++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ From greve at lowtem.hokudai.ac.jp Tue Feb 28 04:53:32 2017 From: greve at lowtem.hokudai.ac.jp (Ralf Greve) Date: Tue, 28 Feb 2017 12:53:32 +0900 Subject: [SICOPOLIS:53] New grid for Antarctica Message-ID: <77152c91-adae-e0e2-d8ac-e8fa9e5d5dbe@lowtem.hokudai.ac.jp> Dear colleagues, as a preparation for ISMIP6 , and in particular the InitMIP-Antarctica experiments, I am currently implementing a new grid for Antarctica. In contrast to the previous grid, the new one is symmetric around the South Pole, with the lower left corner at (-3040 km, -3040 km) and the upper right corner at (+3040 km, +3040 km). The polar stereographic projection is the same as before (EPSG:3031; standard parallel at 71?S, central meridian at 0?E). Possible resolutions are 64, 40, 32, 20, 16, 10 and 8 km. I will commit the related changes over the next days. Please note that, with the new grid, the old input files in sico_in/ant cannot be used any more. So I will delete them all and provide new files instead. As always, if there are any issues, please let me know.
