Subject: [SICOPOLIS:48] Extended time-series file in NetCDF format

Dear colleagues,

in addition to the usual ASCII time-series file runname.ser, SICOPOLIS 
now (V3.3-dev revision 800 and later) also writes an extended 
time-series file in NetCDF format. It has the name runname_ser.nc, 
contains all variables of the ASCII counterpart and some more (try 
ncdump -h runname_ser.nc) and is written automatically if NETCDF==2.
