Synopsis
|
The Institute of Low Temperature Science (ILTS), Hokkaido University is going to hold the ILTS International Symposium "Frontier of Low Temperature Scence" during the Hokkaido University Sustainability Weeks 2009. The aim of this symposium is to discuss the present status of research activities and outlook concerning the themes of the Institute of Low Temperature Science (ILTS) (i.e., the basics and applications of scientific phenomena in cold regions and under low-temperature conditions) with researchers from within Japan and abroad, and ILTS researchers. Four sessions are scheduled: Water and Material Cycles, Frontier Ice and Snow Science, Environmental Biology and the Pan-Okhotsk Region. |
